I am trying to help someone install an aftermarket stereo into a 2004 Toyota Camry with JBL system. I noticed that in the trunk, the two 6x9s have 2 ohms written on them. I haven't looked at the front door speakers yet.

However, since most, if not all, aftermarket HUs are designed with 4 or more ohms in mind, does this mean I have to replace all the speakers to do the aftermarket HU install or risk the HU shutting off or getting damaged due to the lower ohms on the speakers?
