Okay so i got everything installed .. my rainbow with the amp .. and for some reason .. my backfillers sound a lot louder than my fronts (tweeters included) .. can anyone tell me why? could it be possible the installer connected the back speakers to the amp?? and the fronts to the HU??

that would be a dumb thing to do and yes that's a possibility. can you check to see where the wires are going out from the amp?

I bet you thats what he did...LOL. Those rears are so easy to connect to the amp. God I hate half *** installers.

if your factory HU wires are still there to the rear, u can hook them up to the HU and compare.

i took out the headunit and its connected to the front speakers .. but still .. i dont know why its still so low compared to the back .. should i set my gains higher for the front?

Yea that should do the trick... or did you play with the fade settings on your headunit?

Im confused here... they connect the fronts TO the HU? So then the rears are coming off the amp?

it would have been easier to disconnect the amp to find this out and there is no gain setting on any HU that i have seen, so you should connect it properly instead of playing with the gains.
