Installed the Flatlyne and I discovered I am a retard!

First, the sub sounds amazing! Gets low but still has very good SQ. I now need to upgrade my front and rear speakers but that'll happen when I get more money. I set the gains but still need to adjust the rest of the settings. They were set at one time but now they need to be reset because I am retarded. Here's what happened with the install...

First I hook-up the amp, set gains, LPF, subsonic, wire the sub, install everything in the trunk. Check to make sure everything is hooked up, turn the car on and nothing. I recheck everything, look at all the settings, check the ground, and still no sound. The amp is turning on, and getting a signal, but no sound. I figure it must be something with the H/U. I pull it out and check everything and it is all hooked up correctly. Still nothing. Go to turn the car on to try again and the H/U won't work:( I check and recheck everything and cannot find any problems. I say **** it and pull the H/U out I figured that it can wait until tomorrow. The wife and I go out for a bit, taking her car, and when I get home I decide to work on it again. I check all fuses, every fuse in my car, because I cannot figure out which one is for the radio, and nothing is blown. I try the H/U again and it powers on for like 15 seconds. I check the wiring again and notice my lights are dim then I realize the battery is dead. I drift start my car, let is run and everything works now. The End!

Sub sounds great though, loud, and the gains aren't even set to half!

Lol I figured that if anything in my post would get a response that part would. Gains were set correctly with a dmm. Plus I love when people say that and I wanted to be one if those people.
I like this guy. However, you are doing it wrong. Front Stage > Substage.

Now with pics...Don't mind the box. I used be liner and some turned light grey and othjers stayed black. Don't know what happened but it works. 2 ft^3 tuned to 34

To early for me to tell about the amp but the pics of the guts looks solid and so far it seems like a good amp. Just a few hours of play though. Ask me in a month and I will have a better idea of how it performs. Ran it for about an hour straight yesterday and it was barely warm, ran it for about 1/2 hour today and still barely gets warm. Have it set for only 750 watts @ 2 ohms, rated for 950. Once I let the sub break a little I will bump it up close to 900. I will try to get a video after work.

After I increase the powa the gain should still be under half //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Also...$160 for 1500, can't complain. I'm happy with the purchase.
