Installed my premier p600ub

Well I recently went from a panasonic cq-8300u to the premier P600UB. I mainly wanted the USB capability and the panasonic wasn't reading all of my older CD's. I didn't want to have to re burn the CD's as I'm sure most of them should be. The premier is a pretty nice unit but I almost miss my old panasonic. I wish the premier had attenuation and a mute button on the deck. Having problems with getting it to random with USB but I guess I need to play with it more. It also came with the infamous pioneer noise but I was able to take care of that. It takes me a while to get used to change I guess I was going to transfer this over to my other blazer later, but I think I will be looking for another unit when that time comes. Anyone else have things that they love about theirs or wish it had?

I wish it would pull the power antenna down when listening to MP3's or CD's - nothing that a simple 12v switch didn't fix, but i'd rather have my interior clean and switchless.

Other than that its a great unit. ATT and pause are both easily accesible on the remote, which I use 99% of the time. its way easier than reaching forward for the deck (in an SUV)

MP3's are fast and easy to find when categorized in folders.

What did you do to get rid of the whine?

I wrapped some wire around the rcas on the back screwed to the chassis as per. So this thing does have ATT? I can't seem to get mine to work. On either setting tel MUTE or tel ATT it just mutes it completely. I guess it only works when the signal is sent with a phone or something. The way tracks are listed aren't very easy to read. Anyway to change that? If the font was either a little smaller or if scrolled would be nice. Also don't like how you hit list and it always go to the beginning. Would be nice if it was at the track playing. Just little things that I wish were different.

att makes it quiet but u can still lightly hear the music...

The text scrolls on mine...

But yeah the list thing would be nice, esp when you have 8GB of music on a thumb drive...

turn the deck off, then hold down your volume button.

it will get you into the same menu you need to adjust your clock.

there is an option called everscroll

you may want to turn that on.

I have everscroll on, but isn't that only for when it displays it on the main screen? When you are looking through lists I haven't seen mine scroll. So biker420 your ATT works like it should when you press the mute button on the remote?
