Installed my 1st amp and subs today :)

And I love it!

My stuff isn't even good and it sounds great. My subs are only 200 rms...can't imagine how it must be like with what some of you guys have.

When I upgrade my amp and subs what do you think would be the best I could buy (in watts, RMS) without having to buy a better alternator or something. I drive an 08 G5.

My budget would be about $400-$500.

Well they aren't new, bought um off a friend. I put them in just for temporary use until I get brand new ones.

How much would a ported box cost?

I can't really get a huge box because my trunk is small, especially the opening.
