I'm finally starting the install for my 08 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Adrenalin. It just has the regular single CD player unit right now. I'm looking for a high quality installation kit and wiring harness for my Alpine 9883 w/ Ipod. My vehicle does have Microsoft Sync but I could care less about retaining it's use. It's kind of annoying.
I was wondering if there was anything out there that's unique or exotic that could enhance the appearance of my 9883 and it's position in the dash. Something different from all the installation kits I've bought at walmart or whatecer in the past. My last Stereo install was about 13 years ago so I'm pretty rusty now. I'm looking to do this myself and save some cash.
Anyone have any thoughts, comments, advice?
