I have 2 subs I'm going to install in my friends car but he dont have a amp and i know its possible to instll them with a amp his head unit got enought power to push them, but i was just wondering iof i could just splice into the back speakers wires to wire them in, so that I don't have to run lines all in the car and take hours, and could just take 5 mins. So can i splice into the back speakers wires?

Well he might have a amp somewhere in the car, he dont have a manual anymore. It's a nissan maxima 95, anyone know where it might be located? Also it is a Bose stereo system. But also I was pushing them 2 subs off my little bookshelf system in my house and its only 320 watts on the first channel, and these are 700 RMS watts each, 1500 max power.

No it won't work...simple as that. There are things that the Amp in the HU lack, one of them is enough power, another is a LPF, or SSF. Just dont do it..
what u mean it wont work, ive done it before and it worked, but of course it wasnt enough power but it did the job.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
