Like i've said, marks boxes perform well where they are designed to.
People bought his boxes for high output (SPL), not many people go to mark for SQ purposes. Afterall, he's good at getting loud, but not always sounding good.

I don't think i'm opening myself up to flaming at all. TCAB enclosures excel in the areas they are supposed to. I don't agree with mark's business practices either, but that is not the basis for this thread at all.

Actually, none of the crap posts in this thread pertain in any way to the thread starters question. I've stated multiple times that there is nothing fancy inside mark's boxes, which effectively answers the thread starters question.

The rest of this thread is just more useless bashing.

There are TCAB boxes in AS1, AS2, and AS3

AS1: Daniel Anderson: 143.6 (has more in it i think)

AS2: Zach Sondgeroth: 145.9 (doesnt blow any fuse, so theres more in it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

AS3: Someone does AS3, but they aren't a member yet

S2: My teammate les uses some of mark's ports: Does a 150.x so far

anyone can look it up. I posted the #1 points leader in every AS and Street class...so there is nothing wrong with my list, it IS correct.... look it up if you think im wrong, i'll gladly retract my figures if im wrong.

The horse is dead, cease the beating... The boxes are loud, other people can make loud boxes too, yadda yadda yadda, Mark Potts, TCAB, this cluster**** has been going on for quite some time i don't understand how people STILL can argue about it...

I mean, the marketing and the word of mouth was annoying but it worked for him. In the end, he won because you couldn't market yourself (or whatever other possibly higheer quality/more honest box builder) better than he did.

If you want to look at it in a points standing look at How many shows Bates has done compaired to me this year Me= 50 points and 4 shows Dan Bates 69 points from 8 shows!!! Hmm wonder if i would have points lead if i did 8 shows
