Actually I like Mark, I have nothing against him...hell we even talk almost every other night.... Im not saying anything about Mark or Tcab at all.....but I am pointing out that if you use AS scores to prove TCAB enclosures, you better at least have your figures straight. MECA created the national points standing structure because it IS a valid representation of the active memebers and what their accomplisments throughout the season. You can have the loudest box on the planet, but until you make 20 or so shows and get 1st or second place every time and gain enough points, your not taken seriously as a competitor....and trying to use this same list of competitors as proof of a trend in TCAB enclosure use is really silly....especially since none of them are in the #1 points standing. The numbers speak for themselves.

I wasnt actually trying to sell, just making a statement, but I 100% understand.

Im gone for less than 24Hrs and this shit blows up into 9 pages??!!?? im not going to even get into arguments about TCAB quality. Just goint to mention some things.

1.) Ever box he builds that i have seen specs on will be far from yeliding decent sound quality. Yes i love wanging, but i like my wanging exceptionally clean.

2.) His boxes are made out of what is basically OSB construction board (no matter what he says). I build a 1/4 pipe and a ramp out of this stuff back during my BMX days and it was competely deteriated to the frame within 6 months. There has been more than one case of mark's boxes falling apart within the year. Im not going to cite it, if you think you know his boxes well enough to argue for them you will know that they fall apart.

3.) the man calls a gain a volume knob...do you really want to let him design a cookie cutter box for you?

depends where you live. ported dual box here is like 180, right around there... tcab...basic one...bout 200...not to bad...but if you get picky with what you want....then its gets rediculous.

ok, so cookie cutter enclousures are expensive as shit and you can get the same/better quality for 1/4 the price and custom stuff automatically doubles the price?

How come everytime someone says the word TCAB, it turns into a 10 page essay. he just asked what does the inside looks like. everytime the word "TCAB" is mentioned, it gets out of hand. Just STFU and keep the comments to youself. I'm pretty sure this whole forum knows all the shit about TCAB, we don't need anymore.
