x2, but i always test all of my equipment before selling them so that way i know i wont ever get screwed with someone trying to say it doesnt work and so on.

You sure are very defensive for this guy.

I know that some people have modified these amps to get more power out of them, I know that I have seen one of the few amps that do 1.5x normal power.

If your trying to say I have ever owned a 20.1 you can check and see lol. No need to try to pawn blame off on me, only reason I knew who you got it from was because I checked your posts else where. I was gonna help you nab somebody if they were trying to scam you, but you don't even know if it works or not.

Plus its a slow morning and I needed something to do.

Yea after all a visual inspection guarantees functionality. A cold solder joint is so easy to see with the ***** eye.

I have a very bad habit of buying stuff and not using it right away.When I first started purchasing stuff from the net I'd bench test it as soon as I received it.

WELL this is one I didn't test or bother to look inside of because I bought it from a reputable well known person. I never used it. I was about to sell it but something inside me said look inside the amp this is what I found.

I did not try powering it up but from the looks of things it dose not look good.

And also becasue of who I bought it from. I couldn't just sell it and not check something, sheez.

This does not make it the sellers fault.We are just stating the it is odd that you post a year later that an amp you bought and never hooked up was blown from the start.As said before if it was shortly after the transation you woudn't be getting all the shit your getting.

I didn't feel like hooking it up on my test bench. I also didn't want to send it with out knowing something/anything about this amp.

I knew I bought it from a guy who is really into SPL, I couldn't feel 100% confident selling it to someone with testing it first or in my case at least looking under the cover.

Understandable.But not everyone pops the cover to check the guts like has been said.He may not have known about the damage,the amp may still work even though it does "look" damaged.You will never know till you hook it up.What's the worst that would happen,if you already believe it to be blown then you would be out nothing correct?
