well im going to be starting a build for a 99z and i was going to glass the inside of the box. i was wondering if anyone has a rule of thumb for how thick glass is per layer. im going to use chop mat. think if i just add another 1/4inch to the whole paramiter of the inside of the enclosure that will be enough to keep the volume true?

Are you going to be adding the mat down over MDF? If so, you wont be adding much strength. Fiberglass on flat areas is not very strong at all.
yes i was. so i guess scrap that idea and just brace the hell out of it...
