hi i have a 99 chev cavelier 4 door,i am putting a panasonic 40 watt x 4 cd player in it,i also have a 1000 watt 4 channel amp and a 12inch 500watt sub now my question is i want to add some decent speakers that don't cost a bloody fortune but still sound great i would like some recomendations as to a good 6x9 speaker and what i need to know power wise.i would also be interested in some tweeter recommendations i don't want to get fancy really but anything that sounds pretty good.

For the 6x9s i would go with pioneer. they aren't incredebly expensive and sound really good. get 3-way speakers, then you don't need tweeters. it costs less to get a 3-way than to buy tweeters seperate.

I would go with the Infinity Kappa 6 x 9s. They are great and you can find them on ebay for a great price most of the time.
