Mixing Brands of Subs?

I have a RF 10" HE 200W RMS.... Could i add a second sub,, say... infinity? or is that a bad idea, and should just get nother RF?

That's a bad idea, from what I know. I'd either get another RF, or get two infinitys instead.

I know someone who TRIED to mix a JL 12W0 and a HX2 and it sounded like ________. (fill in the blank with your favorite expletive) It is not a good idea to mix subs because different subs are just different. Subs were not designed to do this.
