Input on new amp rack

I'm looking at building a new amp rack in my hatch, but first wanted to get some input form the master carpenters here. I'm not sure if I want to just build a shelf to get the amps up off the floor, or build a new enclosure and put the amps on top of it. My woodworking skills are limited to making a few boxes and cutting a few baffles with a jigsaw in the past....nothing too difficult.

Also, pleae post pictures of what you guys have so that I can get some good ideas.

False floor? Or sink them into the enclosure itself.

build your enclosure and push it as far back as you can. Then get a thin sheet of wood and cut it so where it'll cover the whole enclosure to wehre you can only see the sub & port, and place your amp in the back of the box.

I was actually thinking of doing the reverse of that with the sub firing into the cabin and the amps facing the rear. BTW, I should mention that I will either be keeping a single 12" in a sealed enclosure or get two 10's in one dual sealed enclosure.
