oh yea it is, when you are clueless about car audio. Take just about every product available. they are made to be customer friendly. You go out you buy a cd player and plug headphones in and listen to the music. No, you dont buy a laser, have to match it up with the proper amplifier or whatever else is in a cd player, build/buy the right casing that will fit it, connect the laser to everything else yourself, put it in the casing, and then listen to the music. You dont buy an engine, connect it to all the other shit, buy car seats, find a body that will fit everything you got, etc... No, you dont. you just buy a car. it was so frustrating doing all this shit when i thought a sound system would be like every other product in the world...
there are setups that will just plug in to certain cars.
but they sound like shit. welcome to the world of customization. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
Psh, once you hit fiberglass, MDF, and tube amps you find out the meaning of the word difficult. Diagnosing a problem with an amp is a pain in the rear, granted, but not totally impossible.
