I get alot of PMs about this so I figure I'll just make a post about it.
I don't think this is against the rules as it is not advertising but simply answering extremely common questions I get via PM.
1) Does warranty cover 1/2 ohm on the SAZ amps ?
Not for free replacement - but you have options:
http://www.sundownaudio.com/warranty.html
1) If your amplifier has a blown power supply or damage from excessive vibration there will be a charge for a warranty replacement within the 2-year policy:
* SAZ-1500D and smaller amplifiers (or any future model under 2000 watts) - $30 in the continental USA (AK and HI add $15)
* SAZ-2000D and SAZ-3000D (or any future model 2000 - 3000 watts) - $50 in the continental USA (AK and HI add $20)
1/2 ohm operation generally blows the power supply if it does anything - so you are not just out of luck.
2) What are the conditions for the above ?
The warranty text lists all the stipulations - in summary it must just be in at least fair physical condition:
http://www.sundownaudio.com/warranty.html
A replacement can still be acquired for less than fair condition amplifiers but the cost will be higher than listed above - determined by just how bad the amp is. Will generally still be cheaper than repair cost.
After the 2-year warranty we still have the "discounted replacement" part of the warranty up to year 5 - it is a bit more expensive than within the 2-year period but still will be a good deal for the customer and is based on the condition of the amp sent back.

Anyway, hope that answers questions ahead of time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
