Info needed on VLX-400 setup..

I have a VLX-400 I have been trying to sell and have not yet and I have a xxx-6500D installed someone said I should get a different amp since I can't run 16v for the xxx so I have a VLX-400 but every one says they are AMP hungry like 350 amps I have a 250 alt and 2 batts under the hood, I am also putting 2 stinger batts behind the seat with the VLX if I use it.

Would 1 250 alt and 4 batts be ok to run the VLX and would that be better then the xxx-6500d??

I also have a memphis 4k I could also use open to ideas this is going to 12"s...

Open to amp ideas here within what I have and those are the 3 big ones I have.

i use a 200 amp alt hc 1800 in the front and 2 hc 2400s in the rear big 3 done and 3 runs of 0g to run my vlx and my pdx 4.150 and im never below 12.8v at the amp

Sweet so I should be better off then on the VLX then the XXX since I can't run 16v you think? I know I will be losing some watts but the power in a US AMPS has to be better then the xxx on 14.4

i would think u would loose alot of raw power but your going to gain a ton of head room and alot less distortion

Any idea where I can find a manual on the VLX, want to make sure I setup the high peak, low peak and slop right..

Plus I need to do the math on the gain, hate that I think I do it the hard way by not using RMS and testing the true power out put to get my number for my dmm I know there is an easier way but can't find a how to on it to make sure it's right.

Yea I was just looking at that, nothing about the controls and how to set them or what they really do. lol

Just want to be safe and get it right as it's mounted behind my box and a ***** to get to really..
