Info about power cells?

ok, so, I have 4 farads of caps right now, and want to move to more, because I am sitting down in the 12.5v range with both caps running and the car on (when the subs are ramming). I was thinking about buying 2-4 power cells and running them in my car. I have 2 12 inch L7 subs. I am currently running 4 gauge rockford fosgate wire from my battery back to my rear hatch area. The car in question is a 2004 saab sportwagon. Will the 4 gauge wire be ok with a couple of these? I know rockford/kicker wire is better than alot of other 4gauge. I cant just line with yellow tops because my box is taking up 90% of the trunk, amps and other misc stuff takes up the rest. The only spot is in between the box and the back seats.

1. Remove caps from system.

2. Sell caps.

3. Sell stock battery.

4. Buy XS Power battery.

5. Buy high output alternator.

6. Run 1/0 wire from front to back.

7. Play as loud as you want.

get rid of the caps. run 1/0 wire. Get a solid AGM battery and should be fine

Dont think he need a HO alt. l7s are only what 600 rms. If you cant play a 1200w system with big 3 upgrade and a good batt somethings wrong

Im running the 2008 versions, 800rms easy. im running 2 KAC 9104D amps. I already have the highest output alternator that will fit in my car. I have looked into HO alts and can not get anything greater than what is in it. I dont think 1/0 gauge would help too much would it? Im just wondering, will power cells work? I would be selling the caps to get the cells if they ARE worth it, and if i dont have to run bigger wire!

you dont have to run 1/0.. but you are not getting eeverything out of your amps.. choking them off. Caps are not worth a ****. one halfass battery will probably replace all of your caps. I have yet to see a cap at a competition. except some sq guys. batts>caps

Would putting in power cells eliminate that choking because of that new power source?
