Alright, been talking with a member on this bored, and horns came up, well I never thought about them before and don't know the good quality brands and where to purchase them, could anyone shed some light please, thanks.

Links appriciated =D

so why use horns instead of a high powered comp set again?
Alot prefer the sound of horns over traditional set-ups. Plus its ability to play very low to be matched with a nice 7 or 8in mid for a awesome 2-way set up. Some say it sounds like your really at a concert and not just listening to something on the radio. I have never played with horns but after doing a little research I figured I would give it a try. Alot of people dont want to mess with the tunning and installation of the horns so they tend shy away from them.

How does one tune a horn?
x-over, eq, time alignment, phase...

I have a horny system. They're not really that difficult to tune. The hardest part is probably level matching them to the rest of the system with their high sensitivity.

100+ dB sensitivity is great.

I actually have a couple sets of the ID horns laying around.. I think one of each kind and my friends seem to be really impressed with them. They are built really well and sound amazing when installed correctly.
