Finally! My streak of amps not hitting ratings is over. Really pleased with how this Amp performed. Well exceeded its ratings and is a very good value.

Dyno section begins 5:52

Weird thing is I couldnt get the amp to clip... Not sure if these have some type of circuit preventing it.. ran into the same thing with the JBL GTX500 I had as well...

Yes that price is crazy. With my deal with Harman I paid $90 for it, and I have to ship it to sell it... If someone needs a 500-700 watt amp at the Gramps ohm that's the one to get.

I had a few Concord Digital Reference series-50.2s and 20.2s even ran a Concord Deck/hu..that I ran back in the early 90s and the 400 and 200 that were the same version as the JBL GTQ series that were within the Mix of when JBL bought out Concord. I still have one of 6- JBL GTQ 400s and stillhave a JBL GTS 600,sold all my 200s(6) of those and 150s(4) and couple little pups the 100s(2) those.Few GTS and GTX H.Current amps like the 100, 190 and 240.Ive never had good luck nor was I ever Impressed with the output of Infinity amps over the years, Yet Looks as though they have come a long way. Impressed

No idea, thought we had a deal and who knows we still might... but he has kind of gone MIA... Usually the first sign of moving on... Maybe I'm wrong it is the Thanksgiving holiday. I had offered him Both infinity amps and a set of JBL 609C's and a Knuconceptz 4 gauge OFC Kit for $230 + Shipping. If I don't hear soon I'll probably just return the two amps to Harman. I do get Free return shipping, but trying to pay my deal forward to someone who could use the gear....

Maybe wait a few days....afterall as you said it is holidays. People usually busy around this time.

If only Infinity could make another sub like the Reference Series that was recently discontinued and similar to the JBL GT5 series. Those were an incredible bang for your buck, I regret selling my 1262's. We put a 1060 in our hot rod and I have 2 860s NIB. The current Reference series is a shallow mount then there is the Kappa pushing $200.

Oh I'm not rushing to send them back.... Just don't want to hold em to long and get burned... Though I own them so cheap I'm not really super concerned. But I need as much cash retention as possible If I am going to be able to keep up doing these vids. Just invested in upping the production value with a new camera and microphone...

Just curious but based on the 60 amp fuse rating and 14.4 volts input voltage the max potential power of this amplifier should be in the neighborhood of 648 watts. Amperage X Voltage = watts at 100% efficiency X .75. That is assuming a total (power supply + amp) efficiency of 75%, which according to the engineer who made that dyno you used is typical for a class D amp. So I guess the 645 watts you got certified jives with what you got on that dyno but not the uncertified result.

The GTX500 should have a max potential power of 540 watts with a 50 amp fuse and 14.4 volts input. My car has a running voltage of 13.6 volts so that number would drop to 510 watts.
