Infinity Reference 1030w vs. Alpine Type S 1041

Which Sub would you guys pick if you had to pick one??? I'm in this perdicament right now. It would be going into a bandpass box. I know all about how Sh***y bandpass boxes are but thats all I got right now. Thanks for the help.

Personally I would pick the Alpine, just from the experience of hearing those two subs side by side, except they were in sealed boxes. Plus I have a Type R. :thumbsup

I heard both those. I like the infinity better. I have the 1220W right now (last years version of the 1230W) and I really like it. They aren't too bad in the a bandpass box since I have heard then at a circuit city like that. The type S is alright but the infinities should handle more power and sound better. Which is a big plus with the bandpass box. If you really could I would run them sealed, they are both really sealed box drivers.
