infinity perfect 6.1

hey i got a set of infinity perfect 6.1 components in my car powered by a hifonics nx600 amp. i really like how it sounds. if i ever decide to upgrade, i think i'm gonna go with either DLS, CDT, or maybe even rainbow. i've never heard any of these three perform. can anyone (that has heard the infinity perfect 6.1) compare my components to these three and what kind of differences i will notice if i were to upgrade to any of these three. i had been wanting the perfects for about 2 years now after reading rave reviews on them on various sites until recently, i came upon CDT, DLS, ID, and all these other internet brands on the net that are supposedly top notch quality.

The bottom of the line of any of those brands IMO blows the infinity speakers away. I've have Infinity, CDT and DLS speakers in different cars, and the infinitys are just stuck in my moms truck because she doesn't care. I can't stand them. Even the $150 CDTs are a better speaker. Infinity has very harsh tweeters, and lack midbass. Basically, they don't do anything good IMO.

true...kappas tweets are enough to make your ears bleed. However, the 3.5"s have pretty good midbass for a 3.5 or i guess its called midrange... idonno im still a newb

Yah, I've heard really bad things about the infinity perfects but... I have the 6.1's and I like them. They're not the best speakers in the world but I don't care really. Then again if I was going to comps I'd probably have a way different setup. As for my daily driver they're good enough. I've heard really good things about the CDTs and IDs. I actually have a pair of IDMAX's and I really like them. If you're happy witht he infinities and there aren't any problems with them I'd probably just keep them. They do lack in midbass but with me I put some 5x7's in the back for that. It works alright. combined all my door speakers were about 280 including shipping. Nothing wrong with that. I'd probably recommend CDTs if you had to buy something. Rainbows are just too **** much.

hey would u really say the perfects lack MID-bass?? if anything i thought they lacked LOW frequency response. their manufacturer rated at 75 hz low end and i would say thats pretty low. so if i were to get subs it wouldn't be like the system were "lacking" any frequency right??
