which one would be better for my Infinity Perfect 12VQ......yes I know their both like exactly the same but anyone have either one please post pros and cons..

harman/kardon, infinity, and jbl are all the same company. With that being said I'd probably go with the jbl. Send me an email (rtragle@cox.net) about the infinity VQ I was talked out of that woofer... I ended up getting a pair of IDmax's

Oh yah, don't run more than the rms for the vq's... infinity has had bad luck with their subs blowing.

It actually was a glue issue in the past that is now resolved. However, I still wouldn't do that. The way their designed the more wrms you give the speakers the more heat the coil generates. They won't have more sound, just more heat. I was actually told this by an infinity rep via email. Now 600 watts is almost enough to run two of them. I think the vq's rms is 400rms. However, the amp will be cleaner if you just don't have the gains up. I've heard a lot of good things about the Infinity kappa perfects. When I talked to the infinity rep he said that the vq's have better sq/spl. However, I haven't been able to find a review on them that seemed valid. Let me know what you think about them.
