Infinity kappa perfects

I'm thinking about sealing two 10" infinity kappa perfect 10vq subwoofers in a 1.1 cubic foot sealed enclosure. Has anyone had any first hand experiance with this subwoofers? I will be powering them with a alpine MRP-650 amplifier.

I had an infinity 12" reference that sounded really good sealed. It was in ~ 1 cubic foot.

I ran 2 12" reference subs in 1.25 ft^3 each sealed and they sounded very nice and had plenty of output for my taste. I would think a little more volume if thats 1.1 ft^3 shared between the two but otherwise should be pretty good.

Thanks for the info guys, as soon as crutchfield refunds my money on the subs I returned to them (bought the wrong subs first time and this time I'm trying to do it right) I will be buying the kappa perfects. I'm not very worried about box volume becuase the new perfects run in boxs as small as .3 cubic feet per sub.

I ran a single 12VQ ported in 2.25cf tuned to 28Hz. It was an awesome SQ sub. Got decently loud. Loud enough for me. Ran off a 601.1

i had kappa perfect 10.1's and a 12.1. I liked em better in the sealed box but I tend to like sealed vs. ported with most subs. One thing that didnt happen when I ported the 12.1 is it didnt get much louder like I expected

small boxes will reduce the low end and overall output.

I loved my VQ 12. I don't think you can go wrong.
