Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 - Sealed or ported?? help choose

Hey guys, I have a kappa perfect 12.1 and I dont know if I should put it in a sealed box or ported. I love sound quality and I love low bass (young jeezy style). I also listen to a lot of trance/house/dance, so I want a box type that will play those sounds accurately. I will be feeding the sub ~ 850RMS.. dont worry i wont blow it.. ive been feeding a 10.1 with around ~650 rms for a year with no probs.. i understand gains/distortion etc...

Go sealed, if you find that isnt your taste then you didnt waste a lot of money/time on buying/making a ported box.

I liked my IKPs in a low tuned ported box... and REALLY didn't care for the single one in a sealed box... but... not everyone likes the same thing...

ported... they love ported for some reason. tune it low as hell. i had a 10.1 a long time ago, just wish i could remember what i had it in... it finally locked up one me and i just sold tha box, but it was good for a 140.6 at the kick //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I had my 12VQ in 2.25cf tuned at 28Hz off 424W. Very clean and got decently loud for an Infinity. Sounded great.
