absolutely not... i am honest to get throwing an mtx 1501d at one of these, and they take it! obviously i'm smart with it but i've never seen such a cheap sub sound so good and get so deep.

i would get the kappa perfects at crutchfield.com- 180 for 2 shipped. seems a much better deal to me...
