Independant suspension

Okay, I have 17'' long coilovers for the rear and 13'' long for the front.

The motor I decided to use for my buggy is going to be a rear mounted 2.0 liter fuel inejcted prelude engine with transaxle. Bolt pattern will be that of a honda..... 4x100 I think.

So, anyways the rear end will get set and done. But, for the front I need steerable independent control arms.

Where in the hell do I get these?

depending on the size of your buggy,

look for the following,

something off a quad / atv / utv,

off the front end of a vehicle like a honda crv or ford ranger (new model)

custom offroad manufacturer for like a trophy / baja truck ..

Also, this is not a 4x4 so there is no need to have a differential

Hmm. Makes sense.

The buggy is a two seater and a wheel base of 95''. Thats a good idea. I didnt think of ATV things.

Any particular sites for things like this that you know of

not off the top of my head, but check the lift kits for golf carts / utvs / atvs .. they might fully replace the front end .. i dont know for sure though, as i just run factory, but also check ebay .. they have a lot of shit

Looking at ebay.

Finding alot of afordable arms.

Like this, would be great I weld a piece on that lets them pivot, and I bolt the coilover to the middle flat peice. so then I have an awesome front flexing suspension.

How do I get a hub on with the 4x100 bolt pattern? I dont understand that yet. Thanks for the help

i cant remember for sure but check hubs for

honda 300ex, 400ex, etc....

i think they have 4x100

Honestly I cant find anything that has a hub to bolt a wheel to. I'm only finding the arms.

I ether need to find a whole set for under 200 or individual parts that will work together to make my own.

I have a rear end out of 87 civic. 4x100 pattern. Can I take the hubs off that and put them on this and make them able to turn?

im pretty sure the part your talking about is completely different ..

the hub part bolts onto the rest of it ..

look at pictures of IFS front ends on buggys .. there are several parts on there..

also if you can find anything with a hub on there already, you can always get a conversion adapter , or build your own..

id be able to help you a lot more if it was 4x4 with solid axle ..so make it a 4x4 buggy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and throw a samarai axle up front

also as far as the civic axles go, im not sure if there rwd or front wheel drive, but for a front end on your buggy that wont see power .. you wont need axle shafts on them .. so most likely it would work .. you just need to find a way to get steering on them..
