my buddy chris "smitty" smith just died today after getting burned up last night. thats the 1st friend ive had die and the feelings horrible. just wanted to say dont take for granted all the friends and family you have cause once theyre gone, theyre gone.

My brother's best friend died almost 2 years ago, only 19 at the time, I wasn't a huge fan of him but it is terrible, I felt depressed even, it forces you to realize your own mortality as well, and that is a scary thought.

it's kind of surreal the first time you lose one of your close friends... my friend alec just died this past sunday and it sucks being reminded of the fact he's gone on a daily basis... just seeing their phone number makes your stomach hurt but you can't even bring yourself to erase it... you just gotta take it day by day, remember the good and never take life for granted...

That's a real bummer man, I'm sorry. My friends girlfriend just committed *******. I didn't actually know her but I still feel bad. I couldn't even imagine what he and the family are feeling.

My cousin died at 23. He was on his way home from work at 2 am and the other driver (drunk) crossed the center line and my cousin tried to swerve out of the way, but he got hit on the drivers side front end and he was killed and his passenger lived. If he did not swerve they both probably would have been gone.

it sucks but you cannot do much about it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

GL to you and sorry to hear that.

Oh geez man, i know that feeling. I've still got all their numbers saved. Its like your kind of expecting them to give you a call. I remember when my friend Sam died and he called me like 15 minutes before he crashed. I could never erase the call.

Not so terrible if you believe they have gone to a better place, especially the suicides, remember, if nothing else, they hopefully have found peace. Trying to honor them in some way (besides just a funeral) usually helps.

There is a reason I USED to ride sport bikes. My buddy from high school since I was 13 passed away a little over a year ago at age 29 in a motorcycle crash. He left behind his 4 year old.. I sold my bike directly after his services. I have 3 little ones of my own.

It almost feels surreal
