Incrimanator audio amps ..good or bad ?

Has anyone ever seen a true dyno test on ia amps ? I am leaning toward ia because of price but sundown has my interest as well . At the end of the day I want what everyone wants a ton of clean rms power from a durable amp . Any reviews from actual owners would be very helpful.

IA amps are beast...but pricey. They excel wired low and especially on higher voltage. If you are more of a common daily driver, go sundown. You'll get more amp for your money.

Tfade tested the new 80.1.....pretty underwhelming results, especially for price

That backs up my local dealer. He said .25 ohm compitition was no problem with strong electrical and no heat issues as well . He seems to be a straight up person . I . Just don't want to drop 1500 bucks into a hole .

1500$? Looking at the 40.1 I assume? If you are planning .25, then certainly it should be considered. But 1500$ gets a lot of amp now days. I'd rather strap 2 ts3.5k or similar if I wasn't wiring to a competition style application

I am currently running the IA20.1, but at 1ohm, and I must say that I am very impressed with it so far. I have used a multitude of amps over the years, and this one is about the best I have used. The up side of it though, I didn't pay retail for mine, makes it an even better deal. If you can get a good deal on one, go for it.

1500 can get you something real crazy used. Like a twisted sounds 8.5k or a vfl 1100.1 or and ampere tfe 8.0. Or even two soundqubed 4500.1s. Incriminator is good but i'd never pay retail for it unless I was earning over 120k a year

I still wouldn't if I made that much money, lol.

I'd buy it at team pricing or used, but that's it.

IA are tanks. The increased cost comes from the tooling costs for unique things like the splitforce boards and high quality components. If you've got the money to spend you won't be disappointed. But on the other hand, there are much better deals out there if you just want a solid performing amp at 1 ohm or even .5 and 12v.

Thanks for the input . I still can't decide between 1 scv6000 at 1ohm 14v or 2 ia20.1 at .5ohm 14v. I keep reviewing other options and I keep coming back to these two brands .
