So i have 2 dvc 4 ohm subs with 400w rms each. amp will do 300x4 @ 2 ohms or 600x2 @ 4 ohms. i want to get my subs to each get around the 400w they can take but i can only wire each individual one at 2 or 8 ohms resulting in only 300 watts max no mater how i wire them. is there any way with out adding another speaker or losing any power to either sub can i raise my ohms from 2 to 4?

sure dude!!! just get some extra fuses ( youll need em) but just for added db's at the drive in or hang out, wire each sub to 2 ohms then bridge each side of the amp @ 2 ohms. problem solved. If its any kinda quality amp it will perform for an evening or more without poping fuses and probably give you an increase in watts by 25 %. so youll have each side bridged at 2 ohms using all 4 channels and be set, just go easy on the gains and boost, bang away dogg!!!! think outside the "box" lol

That is the perfect spot to do that. OEM sub may interfere with the new one and cause cancellation.

The end. It’s more than obvious that these type “political threads” do no good for the forum.
