Would there be downfalls to putting a set of indoor, in-wall speakers in the walls of a garage (facing outdoors, but under a porch roof)? There is no insulation so the backs of them will not be closed in. The reason to flush mount them is to keep birds/bees/bugs from building nests on top of them.
They will be driven by an old school Technics receiver, back when they used to be worth a dam*, at 120w per channel at .01% THD. I'm looking at Klipsch, Boston Acoustics and Polk so far.
