****in ups bastards

do you work for ups? jus curious cause as the guy that got the package this thing looked like it had been thrown by randy johnson into a brick wall.. i knew i was at a complete loss even before opening the box. this was blatant disregard for customers packages... this wasnt a oop i accidently dropped it. this was at case of the opening scene of ace venturas pet detective starring jim carrey.. my two cents...
pics?

i still cant believe ups gets away with this s**t and people still continue to ship very important stuff with these f**kers and they don't have to worry cause they will never go out of business. fedex isn't much better. can't we find a better way to ship??????? i want to be able to wrap a sub in newspapers and stuff it in a box and know that it will be handled with such care that it will arrive the same way it was packaged.

So it had screws in it, so you shipped it in a crate?

its your own dumb fault. Crates ****. They don't absorb any impact, they transfer it all to the subwoofer.... Every wonder why 1970's cars big metal panels have been replaced with crunch zones? to direct g forces AWAY from the important stuff inside...

Riight, so the fact that I personally have shipped hundred of items out without a probem using the foam'd double box method, as well as it being used as the ONLY PROPER way to ship on both 3 stereo forums, and having been approved by numerous authorized ship centers for insurance purposes, I know nothing.

How about the fact that crates are NOT covered as adequate packaging by both DHL, UPS and USPS. Do a little research then, dumbass. and don't tell me to GTFO, I have shipped more shit than you have ever owned.

I'm not saying they are perfect, but I don't have problems when I pack stuff right

USPS.....fyi
never ever had or heard an issue with them
probably the same reason they charge more for shipping.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif they are not perfect either but i think for how much this forum alone spends on shipping subs alone, we need to boycott! i think we could all agree that we could maybe start with ups and go from there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I package stuff at a UPS Store and I've sent plenty of subs/car parts. I don't know why you would've sent it in a crate... I can tell you if UPS did not package the package for you, you will lose the insurance claim. It has to meet UPS standards of how the item is protected. For instance for fragile items we need at least 2-3 inches of packing materials around the object from the box.

We charge a decent amount to pack it but you get our "pack and ship promise" which guarantees you get the insurance money if anything goes wrong. I've never had any problems with the large and expensive items I've packed, from 5,000 dollar picture frames going to museums, to subs, to glass items. I'd like to see pics hehe...

So, yeah I'm a fan of UPS, and any carrier you talk to, you will find somewhere there are a-holes who fuk with the packages, it's known.

And USPS won't even ship some items if they are too heavy/big. And they don't package nearly as well as us //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Again, you pay more for letting UPS pack your stuff, but you're guaranteed your money if something happens to it. If you ship a sub in a box with some newspaper, that's not guaranteeing any safety for the package.

Pics...

Here a while back I shipped a new DEKA 9A31 to MazzaSec and when he recieved it, shit looked like it been dropped of the conveyor belt 15+ times and then repeatedly smashed into the ground. It was sad, because I packed it the exact way I recieved it from REMY, but I had insurance on it, and Matt got it worked out..

I try to ship USPS when I can, but shit takes so long to ship, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
