You cant argue what the point of stretching tires is. Try it, it is rooted in performance, was originated in performance, it is a performance oriented mod. Just because some chink ricers thought it looked cool and did it does not make it a performance mod. This is along the same lines as the ricers that add interfoolers on their NA cars... Any performance mod used as an aesthetic mod is gay, and you ricers know all about gay.

You are an idiot aren't you? Since when have I been trying to explain to you the reason why I do it or others do it is because of the "root" origination for stretching tires? I'm merely stating that I don't do it for that reason, you acknowledge it, but don't accept it. Again, any performance mod used as an aesthetic mod is gay? Really? So if that were the case, why do they make forged rims like Rays? Why are they used by pros that track their cars, auto-x, drift, daily drive, etc?

From what I have seen, you have yet to provide a pic of another car with a screwed up set up like yours... you have shown pics of extreme stretches, but none where the tire doesnt touch the rim bead at all like yours does. Simple, you have yet to provide any fact based information supporting your claims.

Go search forums and tell me how many people claim about what happened to their stretched tires. There is no mention on the G35 or 350Z forums that I know of..quite a wide base right there.

It is quite the opposite actually, you have proven that you lack the ability to comprehend what has been posted, and you also lack the ability to form a well thought out rebuttal. This is why you have proven nothing other than you own oppinion, which we have already stated can not be used to form a valid argument, and to sling insults. Kudos to you.

Honestly, you're right. I'm going around in circles stating the same thing. No need to reinforce my proven points (although some say they aren't yet I provided pictures for them and even asked for their proof, none shown whatsoever, you know, the cases where tires have been blown out due to extreme stretch because it happens so often). I don't get that if it's so common, why so many people actually DON'T run into any issues other than some quicker tire wear. Oh well, no hope for them. I completely understand hoss' points, such as it being used for performance, but he doesn't want to understand mine. Audioholic, not sure what his deal is...maybe the two are butt buddies and give each other reacharound's, who knows.

Opinions? I'm proving you off facts that so many people stretch tires and haven't had problems, so I tell you to prove me wrong and show me how many cases people have blown their tire due to the tire being stretched and to compare that figure to the amount of people that actually stretch tires.

You actually had any valid arguments yet. You dont have any experience either kid, you paid someone to do the work for you. All you have to go on is what someone else has told you, and you havent done the research for yourself. Why dont you realize that? You have not done any of your own research, you go off of what your friends have told you, and you cant prove anything they have told you. In the meantime, I have done the research, looked at the facts, figured out the physics behind why things happen, and have learned the information. I have more experience here than you do, and more than you will ever have most likely. You dont even have the experience to turn a wrench on your own car...

They had experience, but you were the one paying them to do it. They do whatever the idiot with the money tells them to do... And no, your friends with a few years of experience STILL dont add up to decades of experience from hundreds of thousands of other auto enthusiast.

As for the safety thing, you finally changed yoru argument on that, but before you tried to claim that it was OK because you were such a great driver..

I never changed my argument on safety. This entire time I have been saying I know there is a "safety" issue, but the car still drives just fine.

And really, I'm not just going off friends' experiences...some of the guys have been doing this for a couple decades...some are pro drifters that have worked on my car, some have auto-x'ed..so what's your point?

And again, what's wrong with me paying someone to do it? Would you prefer that someone that doesn't have experience stretching tires to do it themselves? What you state doesn't make sense.

Trust me, there are some people that won't even attempt to stretch a tire, but those that know how to do it properly can and will do it. Again, PROVE to me how many cases people have had something happen to their tire due to it being stretched too much (for aesthetic reasons) and tell me how many people actually stretch their tires (rough approximation). If you really want me to shut up and prove a point, provide that answer. If you CAN'T, then maybe you should think about shutting your mouth.

Thank you. Not even close to being done....eventually will get a custom kit and lots of body work done when I go with new wheels. I'll still stretch them and have them cambered, not sure if I want to have as much camber, I'll see... always a work in progress...it's a never-ending hobby.

I'll leave the reading comprehension attacks aside, as I said Im done arguing, and simply state that no, I didnt say my latest 'question'. If you'd read slower rather than rush to get a come-back in, you might have realized that. And if you want to suggest one of us should go back and re-read the past few pages, clearly that person is you, as you did not address my 'reply' (not question). Do so if you wish, or not if you dont and think you 'won', the only reason Im replying this last time is to clear up your obvious misunderstanding of what I said, and did not say.
