In Progress Pics of New Wheels

OP is clearly too insecure to believe anyone who is intelligent, cool, or not a redneck could possibly hate his car mods.
OMG you hate it? You must be a redneck! OMG you hate it? You must be a moron! OMG you hate it? You obviously dont understand!

Frankly, Im surprised anyone with that little self confidence would alter a car in such a non-traditional way. Lets all have fun watching him type out grossly long replies telling us all how little he cares what we think.
Inorite? "I dont care what you think, but imma start at least two threads asking your oppinions, and if you dont like it, you just dont understand"

This one is going to be easy... Where did you even get that I implied your car was FWD? I never said anything along those lines...
Also, your car is a G35 SEDAN, not the coupe... Also, on the coupe, did you notice how the rear wheels are .5" wider than the fronts, front tires are 225 rears are 245. That is nearly a one inch difference in the width of the rubber. THAT is a staggered set up, your car has the same size rubber, which is NOT a staggered set up. How many times am I going to have to tell you the same thing before you understand it?

I said IN CASE you were implying it was FWD. Yeah I have a sedan, so? There are plenty of sedans that go staggered, and one of the most popular ways is to put on the coupe 19's. And let me repeat, since I have more fender clearance I can go with 235's in the rear, which is what I originally planned to do but I didn't have the space..do you understand that it will be a staggered setup at that point? And just and //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif the WHEEL ARE STAGGERED. The setup is not at the moment. You get that? If you don't then please tell me how a 9.5" wide and 10.5" wide wheel are the same.

Where is there a Maybach that has *** curtains? Its a luxury car not a go fast car. Its VIP style done right without crooked '***' rims.
You make yourself sound so fvcking ignorant. The rims that come stock on the G35 SEDAN are staggered. The rear rims are larger. The tires actually fit the rim like they are supposed to. Thats staggered done right.

Your stagger is a broke *** redneck stagger.
No, the sedan does NOT come staggered. I have an '06 without the sport package, thus it came with 17x7 +45 wheels. The sports package has 18x7.5 +45 and that's all around. Sorry, you ail.

So no words are twisted and turned around. Once proved wrong, the story seems to change. And no, the Maybach is not VIP style. Just because it has curtains doesn't mean it's VIP styled. It doesn't have wheels with aggressive offsets, with some camber, etc.

And here's a pic...

People REALLY need to research before they say anything, you just make yourself look stupid by talking shit saying something is rice, because it has curtains, then come back and say, oh well it is nice because a Maybach has it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

...and before others jump in and say they probably don't know much, several of the people that have commented have some of the most beautiful looking VIP and VIP styled cars I've seen.

Amazing.

I have never said they are the same, I have said that they were excessively wide in the rear... 10mm difference is not a huge difference to be staggered either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif . You should have put those on the same size rim with more offset in the rear. Then you would have had more lip, and less stretch in the rear. Stretching rears doesnt gain you anything performance wise, and you have already said you arent going for performance with teh car. The wider tires 235 tires on the same size rims as in the front would have granted you a wider wheel lip, which would have given the appearance of having a wider tire overall. But instead you went with the stretch that makes the tire look narrower AND shows that you lack the money to invest into proper performance tires and do things properly.

But I am sure you already took that into consideration since you seem to know everything...

How in the world has this thread managed to live so long?
Because some people don't understand that the style is a matter of opinion and some people do like it, but they think nobody really does. It's called ignorance and stupidity.

Inorite? "I dont care what you think, but imma start at least two threads asking your oppinions, and if you dont like it, you just dont understand"
At least 2? This is the 2nd one because I don't know what happened to the first one. And again, if you don't like it, that's fine, but if you dont understand it IS a style, then you're stupid and ignorant, refer to my previous quote.

OP is clearly too insecure to believe anyone who is intelligent, cool, or not a redneck could possibly hate his car mods.

Insecure? How so? You really are that stupid? I mean, how do you not understand what I'm typing. Again, refer to my first quote in this post.

And just an fyi, if I had little self confidence, why would I post this thread and state that I understand people may not like it? Sorry bud, but what you say makes no sense.

Are you kidding? Do you know much my rear would tuck if I had 9.5 with a slighly more negative offset? If I wanted my rear to match with the front I would have a 10.5 +15 or so in the rear. You don't know offsets much do you?

And now you're telling me there is a certain size you have to go with to be staggered. First it was you have to have wider wheels and tires in the rear, now you have to have at least an inch or more of tire to be staggered. That's quite amusing.

And I lack the money? Lol. Do you have any clue what I've done and how much I've spent? I purchased wheels, I put new rear tires on, I got new coilovers, I got stiffer spring rates for the coilovers, I bought camber arms and toe arms, I rolled and pulled the fenders a few times, then I flared them. Yeah...I'm cheap, that's why I just spent an additional $1,700 on suspension parts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I said a Maybach is nice. I did not say your G35 was. I said your G35 is ricer. It has crooked wheels, gay body kit, and curtains that dont belong on it. Its ricer just admit it.

ok so you said it yourself. some people do not like it and that is there opinion. so why try and argue about every negative opinion in here.

Yes, that might be one way a person with low self confidence might operate. Build an out-of-the-box modded car, and then tint his glass so dark nobody recognizes him. And never post about it. But another way might be to post about it on a message board, then bash anyone whose reply he doesn't like by telling himself they arent smart enough or cool enough (too redneck) to 'understand' what he's trying to accomplish. Yes, I think Im right on target with your confidence issue.
You think that if you say something, it negates all the times you act out to discredit what you've said. You say you will understand some people wont like it, then you go about justifying in your own mind why they dont with such petty reasons as they must be rednecks or morons. You are pretty transparent at this point. Go ahead, post again telling me what an idiot I must be, or how redneck someone else is because they badmouth your mods.

Are you kidding? Do you know much my rear would tuck if I had 9.5 with a slighly more negative offset? If I wanted my rear to match with the front I would have a 10.5 +15 or so in the rear. You don't know offsets much do you?
Clearly you dont understand offsets... Enough said, need proof, look at what you have done to your car.

And now you're telling me there is a certain size you have to go with to be staggered. First it was you have to have wider wheels and tires in the rear, now you have to have at least an inch or more of tire to be staggered. That's quite amusing.
I said it isnt MUCH of a stagger... Dumbass. Reading comprehension >>>>>>>>>> you.

Clearly you didnt have the money to do it right, otherwise you would have done it right the first time... And I am willing to bet that it will still look like shit when you are done.

Now prop up your ego against his attack by letting us all know how much money you spent on it last week. Maybe someone will respect you more seeing that dollar figure in your post.

No, you said anything with curtains is rice...I showed you the Maybach with curtains, now you're saying it's not rice. So which is it?
