This thread has some cars that have the look I'm going after, not too many...I decided to take it up to another notch.

This is more of what I'm aiming towards. Most of these guys are on air bags though.

Here's some more, but some of them are way too cambered for me....you'll know which ones I'm talking about.

looks terrible, waaay too much camber, good luck with burning through tires in 200 miles.
Hmm, well, I've made it past the 500 mile mark and not too much inner wear so I guess...you're wrong??? Alot of it has to do with toe. I got custom camber arms in the rear and if I go with more negative camber for clearance I'll need custom toe arms. Just an FYI, it's the toe that makes the tires wear out faster than the camber would.

Not a fan of the - camber, but they look ok. Still Slow as shit though.
Who said I was trying to make my car fast....yet? Not too many performance mods can be done to the VQ motor, just exhaust, headers (install costs as much as the headers since it's at least a 4-5 hour job), intake, and an intake manifold spacer. Next thing is boost and that costs 10-15k easy...or a built motor which is about 10-20k.

The car is not insanely slow. I've taken on the newer ('08) Mustang GT's and pulled on 'em, not with this wheel setup. Took it to the canyons a couple times and with the suspension I had at the time, Ohlins, they handled like a charm. But you can't expect much from a car that does about 230whp and weighs about 3500 lbs. I don't think the G was intended to be a fast car anyway. The newer G, with the newer motors, that's a different story. On a stock block you can push 600 to the wheels with a twin turbo..theres a couple vids of it smoking the sh*t out of a bike.

Why would I drive fast anyway and risk hitting a pot hole, bump, or dip?

I don't understand why people do this. There was one car that I liked on the second link.

i really like this car....i personally would've went with a different size tire (or maybe cut some of the fender well), rather than messing with the camber so much....but i guess you did what you had to do, to achieve your goal..lol

Yeah and that 2nd one is just //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif. I wouldn't dream of doing that. 1st one is super flush, love how it looks. There's a Lexus SC that is done very well....type in SCWEET in google images and it will come up.

Your car isnt that far behind that one:laugh:

Like I said in the first thread...I love the wheels. How much were they, and did they take 9-12wks to get them? I think if you cut down on the negative camber a little it would look better IMO, but again that's my opinion.

Ok...I've seen the stripper pole, now I want to see the jagerator. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so what is the purpose? doesnt that give you way less traction and shiz? i just dont understand why you would even ponder doing anything like this.

what does it actually do? if there is a logical explanation other than just 'i think it looks cool' i cant appreciate it at all.

1. a lot is 2 words

2. no doubt in my mind it rapes your tire wear.

3. i dont care if that shit floats on air, looks gaudy as funk.
