OK, this one is tolerable, since the wheels aren't super cambered:

However, this one looks like a lowered turd biscuit wagon:

But isn't life supposed to be that way? Everyone has personal tastes, and there is no accounting for them...
At least you can be mature and respectful about it.

I figured you'd like the Volvo I posted a few back, Jim!
I read through some of that thread you linked to.

Maybe I'm just confused on the terms. I would think anything has a "stance" and "fitment" of the wheels - even if it's stock. Whether or not it's low, or cambered, or whatever, is just a different kind of stance or fitment.

Nothing wrong with luxury, but I guess it's like the difference between a Rolex Submariner and a diamond-encrusted watch. Some people like the flash more than others //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And I do like that Volvo - no denying the engineering work that went into something like that.

Okay, obviously you're misunderstanding. The Wagon is on air suspension. It isn't driven that low. That would result in massive holes in the oil pan. He airs the suspension up a bit to drive. I can find a pic...

And the reason you don't think the VW is cambering is because it has a STRAIGHT AXLE rear suspension. The camber is non-adjustable. The wheel/tire combo would probably be a lot more extreme if it was applicable. What you don't notice is that the rear fenders have been pulled... a GREAT deal to allow clearance. This isn't something your everyday owner wants to try.

1. If he wanted to go for the sport image, might as well get the 2 door coupe instead.
2. If you know VIP owners, its from all ages. Not only kids

3. VIP parts are not cheap and fake. It comes straight from Japan

4. If you notice what VIP is, its starts off only with Lexus and Infiniti. Then branched off to this VIP style.
did i say anything about knock off parts or mention parts? I do not care who it started off with.. it is retarded. It IS for kids, kids that cannot afford a more luxurious vehicle....

VIP is trying to make a middle of the road luxury vehicle more luxurious by dumping money into "expensive" parts and crooked wheels? I would prefer to go the actual luxury route and upgrade to a mercedes or other more luxurious setup. Instead you try to create luxury through aftermarker goods:confused:

So basically you try to be a poser correct? calling your lexus or infiniti super luxury or "vip" instead of actually going the luxury route. interesting:wow:

You get the point. People really just want the ability to wow others that are into the scene. Hence why it gets wilder and wilder. They didn't start out running negative offset wheels, but here we are now...

You're WAY out of your league here.

You can't take images of just ONE show and say there are NOT high end vehicles there...

Benzo S600.

I guess those are not high end, though...

Oh snap!

Also, next time you're at a dealership that deals in Lexus'... go check out a LS430 and tell me it's not a comparable vehicle to an S class.

And seriously, I thought the word 'poser' was not supposed to be used anymore. I haven't heard it since someone wore some Etnies to High school and they were called out for not skating or bmx'ing...

I hate to point out the obvious, but aftermarket goods are developed and used years in advance of the technology being incorporated into factory designed cars. I would much rather have a car outfitted with quality 'up to date' aftermarket parts, then a car that came off the showroom floor with already out of date equipment. Navigation is one example.

Not saying I wouldn't spend $100,000 on an AMG65S, but if my budget is $50,000, why not update a $40,000 car to make it feel/drive like the AMG?

I couldn't care less why a car doesn't have, or can't have, ridiculous looking super-cambered wheels. I understand totally, straight axle equals no way to camber, I just don't care, because super-cambered wheels look retarded. Maybe I should pray all car makers start using solid axles so VIP "stylists" can't camber the wheels ... at least not without spending big bucks buying an all-new, independent rear suspension.

I remember the old 280Z's and 300Z's or ZX's or whatever they were, how when the owner would stomp the gas the back end would squat way down and the wheels would camber ... Hated it back then, too. I loved when the '85 Mustang GT with its solid axle and stiff suspension came along; You could stomp it and get no squat at all. Awesome.

Wow, here we go again. Since when is getting people to understand it's a certain type of style and the way I want it convincing they should like it? Only thing they should do is acknowledge that, they don't have to like it still. But when people go on talking about a bunch of other shit, continuously saying it's stupid, it does get a lil old and you wonder if people actually understand a word you say. Seems like you still dont get my key words.
The point im making, that you are missing, is in trying to convince people they are ignorant or back woods if they dont like it, is simply a way of trying to convince us we should like your car mods. Mod your car however you want, I dont care. Its your car. But either quit trying to tell people who dont like it its because they are ignorant or rednecks, or quit trying to convince yourself you are secure enough to accept the 'hate'.

"Your "style" is on par with cars that utilize stick-on chrome, fake hood scoops, and plastic spinner hubcaps" from your quote. Do you drive a mercedes? Do you drive a Lexus? Do you drive a Infiniti? Can you even afford those cars? Its not just for kids. Its not a poser luxury car. I can already tell your not an infiniti or lexus fan, and yes there are mercedes that do VIP style in Japan.

I've seen quite a few people going for the VIP look in Vdubs. More on the exterior aspect and stance though. I've yet to see curtains in a GTI //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Here we go again about the curtins

I said his style is on par with the style of ppl using those parts... that has nothing to do with knockoff or price or anything of the sort. Basically saying it looks like crap, just like those vehicles. Hence the word style.

I do not drive a mercedes... but one will be my next vehicle because I enjoy and value TRUE luxury.

I like how you put words in my mouth, assume I can not afford any of those vehicles, and tell me what i do and don't like:wow: FYI you are WRONG on ALL accounts:laugh:

I drive an infiniti dumbass... I also own a 06' maxima which is in the same ball park.

If you want luxury then buy luxury. It makes absolutley no sense to brag about expensive parts, and adding luxury to a middle to low end luxury model car. A kid would do such a thing... not afford a better car and dump money into a G to make it "vip"

Nevermind the fact that a stripper pole is not luxury, neither are the wheels, streched tires, camber or ugly body kit. OEM parts are probably more expensive than that body kit, and HID's:laugh:
