in a trunk car are the 6x9 holes enough to pass the bass?

cool, more opinions would be nice

Just trying to figure out how to fit a big enough box w/o taking all my trunk space. Its going to have to be 2 piece anyway and wanted to leave some room on the side of the trunk opening to put ski's through into the cabin. But that design is going to be a crazy box with many pieces, as in complicated.

But I'll figure it out and draw it up in sketchup and see what you guys think

I'd use aeros not through speaker holes.
well 6" aero is 28.27" square per side while more efficient and the 6x9 is a bit more prob around ~40"+ square per side

The biggest the box will be is 4.5 cubes and if using a slot port would have 72" square of port or prob 38.5" square of port if I did aero.

So I would think you prob want 2x the port volume going through to the cabin as the box has port/sub giving output, so 144" square or 77" of aero to pass through to the cabin sound about right? Which would mean that neither is sufficient
