i currently have 2 l7s and wana get more loud but crisp loud too. my system is a loud but sloppy, and was gona do 2 more l7s or switch up and try some bls and 18"s just for fun, i heard lots good stuff bout fi.... how many rms could i run daily @ the bls?.....tell me watcha think. thynx

Im sure there will be many that tell you no but IMO yes they will... I put a buddies 15 in my truck for a few days and hated it cuz it was just too boomy and, as you put it, sloppy... I love a my 12's for what I like they are perfect with just the right amount of lows but can stay tight with any music... and whos says you cant get just as loud with 12's too? hahaha

If you want tight, generally a sealed box is gonna be the easiest way to go. The downside is your gonna sacrifice output versus a ported enclosure.

You 'can' get great sq going ported - as long as it's a properly sized and tuned enclosure, but you'll need to also add a signal processor that can compensate for group delay and perhaps some eq adjustments to give a desirable response curve.

A probably bigger issue is gonna be everything in your car rattling... That's a lot of cone area, I see sound dampening in your future as well...

i just talked my friend about doin the wall of bls and he said it will sound better if i have them face up port back instead of a wall facing forward, cuz ill hear some distortion or something....

and what is the signal processor(where does it go?...in line? never heard of it)
