Impressed with Sony (yeah I know wow)

My gfs computer had some issues so we took it in to get fixed, blah blah blah

I was just glancing over the subs they had just to see what was new and such.

They had a REALLY REALLY small sub box with a Sony xplod sub in it.

They had it hooked to a Rockford 300.1.

I was ready for crap city when I turned it up.

They had it on Raw 66 Xm, dont know what song it was but the sub took it with ease.

The box is TINY.

I was expecting it to bottom out and not produce the low notes at all, but it was taking the RF with ease.

I had it up pretty loud ( I dont like to be the guy turning the stuff up loud at best buy but I did it.)

I think im gonna buy one and just mess around with it

I am amazed that someone actually had something positive to say about these woofers. I am a rep for Sony and I have seen all their stuff and I am not pleased with anything they offer but hey they do cover the bills.

They sound like crap, but they have no problem making bass, but **** below like 40hz...they do actually play 50+ pretty **** well though lol

For as much as that cost, you could easily do waaaay better. Get an inexpensive dayton sub, and build your own box, save some cash.

I said it sounded decent.

I want to put this sub in my g35 and still have room for alot of other things.

The majority of people on here just like to jump on the bandwagon and buy everything everone else has instead of doing thier own research.

Actually, you can use this sub, and do an even smaller box if you like... And you won't even need but a small amount of MDF to make a box that small, I'm sure someone here would sell you a small sealed box for that sub for $30 or less shipped, and in terms of sound quality, and even output, that sub would shit all over the sony.
