Well I guess for $100 it's not all that bad... you could do worse than sony, but if you have the hookup at best buy, and that much space in your trunk, why not just get something a little better, even if it does require a slightly larger box... or build your own small sealed box, it's not like it's hard to build a sealed box.

Lol why is it so impossible that the OP liked the sub? A lot of people have never even heard this sub and are just going on what other people said. I've never heard this so I'm not going to say anything negative about it. If he likes the sub then let him like it, its not a crime lol

Have always been pleased with the top of the line sony head units from the past few years.

My dad has a decent Sony ES headunit from several years ago as well as a decent sony 6 channel amp, and while it isn't very powerful, it still works good. His ES components actually sound pretty good too... but that is their old stuff.... I just love to hate on the Sonly Xplode stuff.
