As of right now I have two 12'' kicker comps running on an 800 watt mono pioneer amp and I'm using 8G wire. My question... Would swapping out for two 12'' shallow mount Pyle subs (600 watt) each be better? If I would to swap out, what amp would be best to get... would like to stick with pyle as I can get them for next to nothing. Also, would I have to upgrade my powerwire to say 4g? Would I notice a larger difference or would this be a waste of time? My set-up is in a single cab dodge dakota and I don't want anything extreme as I just want a little extra bump. Would I notice a large difference between the kicker comps (300watt each) vs the Pyle shallow mounts?
