I have 3 dual 2ohm subs wired to 1.34ohm in 1.5cf each........what impedence would my amp see????

Or please explain box rise thanks in advance guys

And no I'm not talking about getting a boner when you see a sweet subwoofer enclosure //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

no way to tell. it depends on the box and the frequency being played and lots of other fun variables... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

How did you get a 1.34 reading, a DMM? According to calculators it would be a 1.5 ohm load at your amp, but your subs probably aren't exactly 2 ohms per coil. You can't guess what the impedance rise will be without actually putting a clamp meter on the wires and testing it for yourself. Every set up is gonna be different.

They are three mb quart pwe-302's (still made by rf if I am not mistaken)

500wrms 1000peak

My amp is rated for 1575 at 4ohm so I think if I wire them to 3ohm it would be perfect...

And thanks beerdrnkr for the sweet *** deal (and for using torx screws (@#*;'-!) lol

No, your amp is gonna pull a certain amount of current/amperage, and if the fuse is too small it's just gonna pop the fuse or trip the breaker, not limit the power. The only way to limit the power is to change the wiring of the subs, just change it to the 3 ohm load and you'll be good.
