it is a question about the existence of a God though. Considering that creation was either a scientific marvel or it was a devine act.I haven't put much thought into this response other than while reading the past few minutes, so its probably flawed and your more than welcome to point it out to which Ill come back and respond...
First of all, lets stop asking questions to get someones answer such as, well then how does this work? Unless you have a statement, it doesn't answer anything, it just points out someones else's lack of an answer.
For the whole how the universe was created. Why does there have to be a "God" to make it. It might just be mixing water and dirt in the perfect proportion at perfect conditions and shit happens.
I don't know a lot of answers to many things that happen, and Im content with that. I don't need to know everything, as long as I can function in a manner that pleases me.
I did like the idea that we are something of epic proportions though. I havent really explored the idea, but its very feasible.

anyways, its a never ending battle. a non believer takes a stand and then a believer says something along the lines of how their god does this so thats ok.
for example:
non believer-if God exists then why is there suffering>
believer-because God gave us free will and he can not interfere with that.
a christian can always make some sort of retort based on their God. There is always a reason..however as much as we debate organized religion, i think we all need to realize its complete BS.
i have plenty of reliable information to back that up as well.
I don't think you read much of Pascal's work at all.while i'm SURE everyone on this forum has read pascal's work, i like to restate and simplify, sue me, i guess that makes me a jackass
Just because you read it on wikipedia doesn't mean you understand it.not yet but i understand wikipedia, h/o a minute... lol
religious statement? again don't attack me, attack the statement...
if both are different and both say the other is wrong, than only one is right, so you must choose to believe one or choose not to choose... there are 6 results
1 you chose religion and you were right, you die happy
2 you chose religion and you were wrong, no biggy since you don't exist anymore you don't really care
3you chose atheism and you were right, who cares you don't exist anymore
4you chose athiesm and you were wrong, you are in for a world of hurt
5 you didn't choose and athiesm was right, so what? you don't exist anymore
6 you didn't choose and religion was right, you are again, in for a world of hurt
and your choice is?
Touche. Questions are fair game, but you have to have an answer, or not expect one.I like asking questions because it helps me understand how a person got to where they are in their faith. How can I understand someone or let them influence my beliefs if I don't know what made them decide the way they did?
Who cares? If I accidentally mixed that shit up it doesn't make me a god. I just got lucky, or unlucky, depends on how you look at it. I didn't say the creator lived, everything just started over.who mixed it?
are you sure? i've been in a catholic family my whole life. I know the catholic church. ive studied it for years. I know plenty enough about it to have decided that its BShahaha that comment almost made me tinkle my skirt:laugh:

Bingo. If I burn in hell for an eternity for living a good and moral life, then I don't like your God anyhow and wouldn't praise him in the first place.
