Well I'm slowly gettin everything back together. I put my new ID ctx 6.5' Components in, and bridged them off my ppi 4400.2, so 200x2, but I'm not giving them 200 a piece

my problem is that I have more midbass on the driver side, and I can hear the tweeter alot more on the passanger. Might need some help on the tuning.

I'll be using my 100.4 to run all my coaxials in front and rear doors too....opinions?

I'd start playing with phase - try reversing the passenger side, see what that does.
How do you have the tweets aimed? Factory locations?
my tweeters are runnin on axis, they are in custom kicks, pointin at you. Mids are next to tweets too.

I'm running passive for now

and JIMJ I saw you postin, so I figured I'd jump on makin this thread;)

Get more 15's it will fix your imaging problems, at least to the ear... lol
I ditched the hdc3's, now I'm runnin 1 10" hd3, and then just got an 18" hw for next spring, just playin with substage.....05 XXX sittin downstairs too, just not sure what size I want to recone too;)

if your running passive for now how is the xover setup. switch things left to right and see wat happens start with amps speaker outputs. then try swtiching the xovers etc etc.
yes I will do that. God I hate tuning, and technically if I'm running passive, the only thing I should tune on the amp is the gain correct?

basically you could tune out more freqs if you wanted like the lows. or you could do it at the head too dependin on the hu u have. but your gonna be my new project cus that's a weird situation u have going on lol
well if yur willing to help:)

and I'd imagine bridging the amp just makes it harder having to tune the front and rear channels alike.

hopin its out of phase

and I have the pioneer 880 hu, any input is always appreciated

there could be a few things.. either

A.) it really is how it sounds more mid on one side more highs on the other.. or

B.) one side has either more mid and therefore sounds like less high on that side or the side with more tweet has more high and sounds like less mid.. more of one will make something else seem missing even if its the same.. get what I am saying?

and did you say you had the coaxial version correct?

Passives usually come with jumpers for attenuating the tweeters. Normally the left tweet would be louder and would need more attenuation. But in your situation, it could be that your left tweet has more obstacles between the path of its location and your ear, which might be decreasing its output. You can try to set the xover on the right to attenuate the tweeter more. Or just ditch them and use your 880prs (which I recommend.)

For your midbass, it may be that your left and right sides are not level balanced and possibly out of phase. I would suggest trying flipping the polarity on one side, which has already been said. After you get the levels and phasing down, some time alignment might help it center up even more. However, as you're using the passive xovers, t/a would affect your tweets along with your mids.
