ya DEI is known for that. but i kinda like the way another company is doing it. can't remember which. but basically they order from the company, company sends them to the closest authorized dealer, authorized dealer delivers the product and gets a check later from the company. and it's all at the price the company expects it to be sold at.

It is a great product
but how are you gonna tell me what to do with my shit once i've bought it?

Actually if you, as a consumer/ end user, purchase a product and "resell it" to another party and state that the product is covered under the manufacturers warranty, you are selling that product fraudulently. Our warranty covers the "ORIGINAL PURCHASER" of the item. Not the guy that you have lie to and just screwed over.

If a product doesn't come from an authorized dealer, there is a possibility that the product could be COUNTERFEIT. A good copy can be difficult to identify. If we didn't sell it then we wont warranty it.

I can't "tell you" what to do, but I can control what & how you do it.

DEI is getting fought tooth and nail for now allowing people to purchase their equipment online and get a card to use for installation at an authorized dealer. people used to have to purchase equipment FROM a dealer, not the internet. so way to cut out those who have been loyal to your product. i haven't checked recently, but i think that whole thing is crashing around them.

Wasn't there just an article in TWICE that said DEI was changing all that.

As retailers have stated, DEI set a specific standard rate for the installation, however some vehicles are more labor intensive than others. Some applications use quite a few additional modules, while others use one or even none. They failed to account for this!

gotta care. I was one once. Been crapped on many a time.Dealers are my business, without them... Were nothing!
