that should tell people that the guys that work for the companies have ways of finding out what they need to know.

and i ain't no narc still :p:sneaky:

funny thing is he never sold em.
i can see the dealer being the one on the loosing end of the rope, why should the manufacture care, they made there money...

****in stupid..

It's not about the manufacturer making "our money" on the deal. It's about protecting the legitimate dealers in this industry trying to make an honest living. Then some punk kid comes on here to brag about "getting a deal". How would YOU feel as a retailer trying to make a living and finding out that someone undercut you and you lost a potential sale because of a guy working out of his house with NO over head selling product on a forum. Meanwhile you have to pay employee's, rent, insurance, electricity, etc, etc, etc. It would probably piss you off!

In the end, it is about the manufacturer making his money too. If the manufacturer allowed these *****-shipping policies to happen, their legit dealer network would soon dry up, product recognition would plummet, and ImageDynamics would shrink, not expand.

Im not suggesting ID is being selfish for having this policy, just saying its not just to save the baby seals and feed the homeless. They have their own interests to consider here as well.

Ya know, this is like thread 3 we have explained why transshipping hurts the industry.

Perhaps me and a few of you others could come up with it in plain English and sticky in the classified //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Audioholic,

I guess you are correct. I should have said "it's not just about money in our pocket"

By protecting our dealers, we protect ourselves. We gain a loyal dealer base that will grow and in turn allow us to continue to grow as a company. Giving us the ability to make even better products and introduce new catagories.

You are a business who must make profit, just like any other business. Nothing wrong with that. I wasn't trying to call you out, just keep things in perspective.
