Image Dynamics vs JL Audio

Hello again

I have been changing my mind all day.

What stuff should I get.

I am thinking of getting

one Image Dynamics IDMax 12"

running on JL 500/1 amp OR Orion 1200D

OR

Two JL 12w3v2's OR one 15w3v2

JL500/1 amp (If I get JL Subs I will get JL Amp to match //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Which will be louder, which will have better SQ? I want good SQ but I still want it to be quite loud. which amps should I use, are there better options? Bare in mind I dont want to spend more than what these options would cost, its already on the expensive side.

If you are running a 500/1, and want sq, i suggest you get a 12w6v2 instead of 2 12w3v2's. It gets loud and has amazing SQ, and the 500/1 would be a good match for it...

y must u be bashing on the mainstream brands? jl has some good stuff, a w6v2 would fit ur application. their products are overpriced, but they have good products. if you're willing to shell out the dough, by all means, it's up to you, although there are other options in the market these days.

i have 3 jlw6v2's sealed a little bit less than they should have, and they still sound amazing and are insanely loud. Ive never heard ID but i am POSITIVE you will NOT be disappointed with some dub6's. If you can find them at a good price, then get them. I would save some money and go with a non-jl amp. check ebay and classifieds. i got my w6's for about 275 shipped on ebay almost new.

I posted in your other thread and I am the one that recommened that 1 id max sub off that amp. I still say do that or even get 2. To me they sound better than jl 12w6v2 or the 12w3. They are amazing sq and very loud. You will be very happy with IDmax.

2 idmax . I think the JL's are overpriced.
