Installed the single 12 in 1.2 cubes this weekend in the back of my HHR on 600RMS to break in and see how it sounded. Very impressive subwoofer, never mind the price! Will shake everything in my HHR, and it is usually a hard vehicle to get driver orientation right to avoid cancellation. Right now the enclosure is in the very rear, and I have tried it firing towards the rear and towards either side. Side firing yielded the cleanest sound but gave up a little output... rear firing gave more impact, but you could sometimes hear the rear hatch/door trim flexing. Mine is the HHR cargo, which has no sound deadener or rear seats, so the rear can be somewhat "lively". I will try it in my wife's Mustang this week, where it will end up, but it will be on only 150RMS. Very happy so far, just don't have more than 4 hours listening time on it. It may spend most of the week in my HHR since it gets driven the most, and put back in her Mustang before she takes a road trip this weekend. Then I can get her evaluation of it as well... she previously had a JL Audio 10W4 in it, and I am trying to match/beat the tonal characteristics while making it more efficient for some more volume on the low power.
