I'm sure this has been asked before.

the v.2 has the triple stacked ( 1") motor. the v.3 has the double (1.5") motor. cone and basket differs also.

owned both.. other than the 2 vs 3 slugs.. I never noticed a huge difference... I think the v3 had a LITTLE bit better low extension

Ive never known the IDMax frame to change. What changed on it exactly?

not sure, but I had to change the basket when ID reconed my v2 into a v3.

Interesting, Ive never heard of this before. If it was required for the recone, maybe it was something in the spider landing.

are you the one that started the thread on hating ID because it cost 220 to recone?? If not, just curious, how much did your recone cost you?

That was some other idiot.

The last time I brought in an IDmax to recone was a long time ago. When I did, i think it was around $125 or $145

I'm local to ID so I don't have to pay the return shipping cost.

the fs is a little lower on the v.3 and i heard that v.2 one piece cone had problems
