We are looking for an inexpensive yet good quality sub to put in our demo car. We've been thinking about picking up the Image Dynamics line and got it worked out but just haven't pulled the trigger yet.
We mostly do inexpensive systems so we will probably be more interested in the ID10's and ID12's (v.3's). Occasionally we'll do a really high end system but right now I'm concerned mostly with the ID's and what they are like... being as fairly inexpensive as they are.
We'll probably run two of the ID12d2 v.3's sealed off either a Kicker KX600.1 or SX650.1 (somewhere between 700-800 watts for the two subs combined).
We are looking for a sub that will have good low response and we understand these do well real low. We've had good success with the PG Xenon subs but they have been discontinued and we've been unable to pick up the new RSd line.
I'm wondering if anyone has had much experience with these ID subs and what might they be compared to if anything? What should we expect?
